As the leading professional Society of Mesotherapy of the United Kingdom, the SoMUK serves its international membership by providing educational resources, leadership in the development of new standards, and forums for the exchange of creative and up-to-date scientific information.
The SoMUK is dedicated to the teaching of Mesotherapy to licensed practitioners who have a scientific interest in exploring the Mesotherapy techniques in their clinical practice. This can enhance your practice regardless of medical speciality, therefore, membership to the SoMUK is open to a wide variety of medical practitioners including dermatologists, cosmetic surgeons, general practitioners, family practitioners, gynocologists/obstetricians, anasthesiologist, dentists, ophtalmologists, ENT specialists, nurses, and pharmacists.
The SoMUK’s goal is to provide quality education for the development of clinical skills in Mesotherapy, through its annual congress and hands-on training courses and workshops. This clinical training will equip practitioners with the latest techniques, technologies, pharmaceuticals and programmes that focus on Mesotherapy.
The primary goal of the SoMUK is to provide an innovative forum for Practitioners with a common interest in Mesotherapy and to exchange views and ideas that encourage research and improve patient management.
Among our goals, we aim to increase the interest and provide an arena to promote and establish a clearer understanding of Mesotherapy; to create wider awareness and appreciation of the benefits of shared care; and to encourage strong links with specialist groups such as BAD, BDNG, RCGP, registration bodies such as GMC, GDP, GPhC, NMC and patient support, amongst other.
In addition, the SoMUK is deemed as a voice for the Mesotherapy in all areas of debate regarding accreditation in the development of Mesotherapy techniques.
