No Prerequisites Required
This course is suitable for practitioners at all levels including those new to aesthetic medicine. No prior injectable experience is required, though a basic understanding of facial anatomy is beneficial. We recommend completing the Anatomy & Physiology course first if you are new to aesthetics.
What You Will Learn
The science of skin boosters
How hyaluronic acid functions in the dermis, the difference between cross-linked and non-cross-linked HA, and why skin boosters produce improvement that fillers cannot replicate.
Product knowledge and selection
A clinical comparison of leading skin booster products — Profhilo, Juvederm Volite, Restylane Skinboosters, Teosyal Redensity — their different rheologies and which suits which patient.
Injection techniques
Napkin fold technique, serial puncture, microdroplet injection, and retrograde threading. When to use each method and how to adapt technique to different skin types and treatment areas.
Treatment areas
Face, neck, décolletage, hands, and under-eye area. Specific considerations for each zone — anatomy, injection depth, volume, and patient expectations.
Patient assessment and selection
