No Prerequisites Required
Foundation course suitable for practitioners new to dermal fillers. Basic facial anatomy knowledge beneficial. Recommend Facial Anatomy & Physiology first if new to aesthetics.
What You Will Learn
Facial anatomy for filler
Facial fat compartments, ligaments, danger zones, and the vascular anatomy that determines safe injection planes.
Product knowledge
Hyaluronic acid filler types, rheology basics (G prime, cohesivity), product selection, and storage requirements.
Injection techniques
Linear threading, serial puncture, fanning, and bolus injection — when to use each and how to achieve smooth, even product distribution.
Standard treatment areas
Nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and perioral area — injection approach, volumes, and patient assessment for each.
Patient consultation
Assessment of volume loss, identifying appropriate candidates, managing expectations, and consent requirements.
Vascular complications
Recognising and managing vascular occlusion. Hyaluronidase emergency protocol. When to refer.
